Founded in 2007 by award-winning designer and renown educator Ms. Tanja Sadow, the Jewellery Design and Management International School brings expert individuals with passion and experience together to deliver relevant, practical and comprehensive training in jewellery design, fabrication and business.

JDMIS offers training in traditional techniques and new technologies, established knowledge and innovative new ideas. It works with regional partners such as the Gemological Institute of America, Swarovski Elements, and local/foreign acclaimed jewellery industry personages to ensure its students have access not just to exceptional education, but to experiences, trend predictions and new developments that are shaping the industry.

Since its inception, the JDMIS has graduated over 3500 students from its diploma and professional certification courses and provided customised training and training consulting services to a wide range of local and multinational jewellers; from family-run single-outlet SMEs to local multi-outlet retailers and multinational brands including Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., Cartier, BP De Silva, Harry Winston, Mauboussin, Pandora and Swarovski. Over 150 of JDMIS' independent students have gone on to develop their own design consulting, on-line and brick-and-mortar jewellery businesses.

Outstanding Facilities

The JDMIS facilities consist of seven dedicated classrooms, a large student lounge/resource area, administrative facilities and a specialised retail area for students to practise their merchandising and sell their pieces. All are located in a spacious 5300 square foot brand new space in the MDIS Stirling Road campus!
